Meredith Burnett is a professorial lecturer in the Kogod School of Business at 国产小呦女. Dr. Burnett's research and teaching interests are in the areas of organizational behavior and human resource management. Dr. Burnett鈥檚 research examines how individual differences and human resource policies interact to influence employee behavior. She is particularly interested in examining how these factors influence outcomes such as employee retention and employee knowledge sharing.
Dr. Burnett's articles have appeared in such leading outlets as the Academy of Management Journal, the Journal of Management, Gender in Management: An International Journal, the Journal of Career Assessment, the Journal of Business and Psychology, and Cross Cultural Management: An International Journal.
Dr. Burnett received her Ph.D. in Business and Management from the University of Maryland, College Park. She also holds an M.B.A. from Florida A&M University and a B.S. in Finance from Florida State University. Dr. Burnett is a member of the Academy of Management, Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology, American Psychological Association, Society for Human Resource Management, and Organizational Behavior Teaching Society. Dr. Burnett鈥檚 professional experience includes The American Institutes for Research, Pfizer Pharmaceuticals, and Shell Oil Products Company.
