Bio
Jackson Dietz brings experience to 国产小呦女 in communications, student affairs, special events, project management, and organizational development centered on cross-cutting initiatives.

At AU, Dietz was the inaugural Director of the 国产小呦女 Spirit & Traditions Board, where he focused on producing events to unite the student body and found ways to celebrate the many great students that make the 国产小呦女community so special. Additionally, Dietz co-founded and served as Executive Director of 国产小呦女鈥檚 first-ever Changemakers Summit, a collaborative project between the School of Public Affairs and the 国产小呦女 Alumni Association that uplifted student change makers and brought students and alumni together to highlight shared achievements. Dietz has also held roles in student engagement and university advancement on the Change Can't Wait Campaign.

Outside of AU, Dietz has worked in prominent organizations across government and nonprofit sectors. At the Department of Homeland Security, he provided high-level support to Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas on events, briefings, congressional actions, and executive correspondence. At the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, Dietz produced large-scale events for mission-driven organizations and provided planning support for novel initiatives, including Kennedy Center Honors.

Experienced in public affairs, Dietz managed media relations, crisis response, and executive communications for the House of Representatives Committee on Foreign Affairs. He played a key role in helping the committee communicate with the public on the U.S. Government's policies around high-profile international events. Dietz also consulted for The Home Depot on economic impact communications, providing valuable input on expanding sustainability initiatives and outreach to Gen-Z.

Outside of his work, Dietz enjoys trying new restaurants with friends, watching the latest mystery shows, and scootering around DC.
