Co-Sponsored by: KEI, Library Copyright Alliance
The Program on Information Justice and Intellectual Property with co-sponsors Knowledge Ecology International and the Library Copyright Alliance invite you to participate in a roundtable discussion examining possible end games for the World Intellectual Property Organization Treaty on the Protection of Broadcast Organizations (aka Broadcasting Treaty). The purpose of the meeting is to both examine potential effects of the current draft treaty, amendments that could facilitate its conclusion and greater protection for the public interest, and possible scenarios for the impact of its conclusion on the agenda of the Standing Committee for Copyright and Related Rights.
About the Geneva Center Dialogues. PIJIP's Geneva Dialogues听series, supported by the Arcadia Foundation, brings together stakeholders, experts, scholars, government officials and intergovernmental organizations to discuss options for the future of global information policy questions. The first edition of the series will focus on the future of the issues being considered by the WIPO Standing Committee on Copyright and Related Rights.
