John H. Jackson Moot Court Competition on WTO Law, All American Regional Round

AUWCL students participate annually in the World Trade Organization (WTO) Moot Court competition organized by the European Law Students Association (ELSA) in collaboration with the WTO.听 听is a simulated hearing of the Dispute Settlement System of the World Trade Organization. The competition is open to teams from around the globe, giving them the opportunity to present their legal skills and knowledge of WTO law in front of WTO and trade law experts.

Participating teams will compete first in one of the regional rounds in America, Asia-Pacific, Europe or Africa.听 The best teams of each region will be qualified for the Final Oral Round taking place in May/June each year at the WTO Headquarter in Geneva, Switzerland.

AUWCL is proud to host the 2019 All American Regional Round of the 17th edition of the John H. Jackson on WTO law, on April 11-13, 2019. This is the sixth year that WCL has hosted the All American Regional Round (AARR). 12 teams from North and South American will compete in the AARR. Two best teams from South America and 2 best teams from North America will proceed to he final round in Geneva.
