Can I apply to ¹ú²úСßÏÅ®without paying the application fee?

¹ú²úСßÏÅ® recognizes that the college application process can be expensive for families, especially as most students apply to multiple schools. The inability to pay a college application fee should never be the reason a student doesn’t submit their application to ¹ú²úСßÏÅ®. To that end, we offer qualifying families in need the option of applying to ¹ú²úСßÏÅ® without submitting the standard $75 application fee.

Common Application Instructions

To apply to ¹ú²úСßÏÅ® without paying the application fee, please utilize these instructions for the Common Application:

  • Log into the .
  • Within the Member Questions on the Common Application, under the General Section, you will be asked "Do you intend to use one of these school-specific fee waivers?"
  • Please select the following: "Yes – I qualify for a pre-approved ¹ú²úСßÏÅ®waiver."

Please note: To access the fee waiver option on the Common Application, you must submit your ¹ú²úСßÏÅ®application separately. You will not have the option to waive the fee if you submit multiple applications at one time.

Students with a fee waiver code may input the code in the AU-specific questions in the Common Application supplement.

Coalition Application Instructions

To apply to ¹ú²úСßÏÅ® without paying the application fee, please utilize these instructions for the Coalition Application:

  • Log into the .
  • Within Part 1 of the application, you will be asked several questions about fee waiver qualifications. The application fee will be waived for qualifying students.

Please note: Students with a fee waiver code may input the code in the AU-specific questions in Part 2 of the Coalition Application.

Information for International Applicants

Only first-year international students applying for the ¹ú²úСßÏÅ®Emerging Global Leader Scholarship and/or referred directly by EducationUSA or other non-government organizations may be eligible to receive an application fee waiver on a case-by-case basis. All other applicants must submit the U.S. $75 application fee per first-year international application instructions.
