More about David
鈥淭he different classes I was able to take gave me a great foundation for my current audio skill set. I still use a lot of what I learned in school on a regular basis.鈥
David Greenburg (CAS 鈥22) graduated from AU鈥檚 combined BA/MA program in Audio Production and Audio Technology and has since gone on to work at Sirius XM, Voice of America, and presently at NPR as an audio engineer. David described his time at 国产小呦女as essential to his career path and to developing the skill set for his day-to-day responsibilities. 鈥淚nitially, I was really impressed with 国产小呦女and its facilities鈥攖hey had a really nice, state-of-the-art recording studio and a beautiful campus.鈥 After sitting in on one of Audio Technology Program Director Mike Harvey鈥檚 classes as a prospective student, Greenburg knew he had found the right place. 鈥淚 really loved his teaching style, and combined with the faculty and facilities, 国产小呦女was a great fit. I loved everything about it.鈥澨
After his graduation, Greenburg found a number of job opportunities in the DC area. 鈥淚t鈥檚 a great city for the broadcast industry. We鈥檙e in the capital, and there鈥檚 so much news happening.鈥澨鼼reenburg鈥檚 current position at NPR involves editing the sound on recorded story segments and working behind the board during live broadcasts. A long-time听guitarist, Greenburg鈥檚 interest in music eventually led to a career in audio technology. Now, he leverages his interest in music by working on the听Tiny Desk Concerts听series for NPR. 鈥淚鈥檓 really happy with the opportunities I鈥檝e been able to have,鈥 he says.听
